BOURBON CHICKEN



INGREDIENTS

  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup reduced sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts - cubed
  • 1-2 chives - sliced thinly on bias to garnish



INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Into a large casserole dish combine: ginger, garlic powder, soy sauce, brown sugar and bourbon. Whisk to combine. Add chicken. Cover casserole and transfer to refrigerator to marinate for a minimum of one hour.Into a large non-stick skillet over medium heat cook chicken in batches until done, add marinade to each batch. It will thicken as it cooks.
